Namgoong Min Reveals What It’s Like Filming Romantic Scenes With Ahn Eun Jin for ‘My Dearest’
Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin dished on their experience filming the upcoming historical K-drama, "My Dearest."
In an interview, the lead stars talked about their chemistry and what it was like to film romantic scenes.
Namgoong Min Says Ahn Eun Jin Made it Easy to Film Romantic Scenes in 'My Dearest'
In a report cited by a news portal, Namgoong Min shared that he didn't get to shoot scenes with Ahn Eun Jin during the early winter shoots, but as the seasons changed, he began to have more scenes with the actress.
The award-winning actor also praised his co-star for delivering and showcasing the true qualities of her character, Yoo Gil Chae.
Namgoong Min said Ahn Eun Jin was able to highlight Gil Chae's "bright and lovable charm in her own style." Due to this, he also mentioned how she made filming difficult scenes seem easy.
"Thanks to actress Ahn Eun Jin, we were able to perform romantic scenes without any difficulties," he explained.
In the upcoming historical K-drama, Namgoong Min portrays the role of the mysterious man named Lee Jang Hyun.

Despite his intelligence, undeniable charisma, and pure sincerity, he is determined not to get married.
However, things changed when he meets Yoo Gil Chae, a socialite who still believes in love despite having had two failed marriages.
Ahn Eun Jin Praises Namgoong Min
On the same outlet, Ahn Eun Jin shared her working relationship with Namgoong Min.
The 32-year-old star revealed how her fellow lead star helped her immerse herself in her character.
"Gil Chae's dreams, imagination, and thoughts are very important in the drama, and whenever I filmed those scenes, he (Nam Goong Min) always looked at me affectionately from behind the camera with the eyes of Lee Jang Hyun," she said.
Moreover, Ahn Eun Jin also mentioned that she didn't put a lot of effort into playing the character because it came naturally to her, thanks to the top star.
"Namgoong Min stood behind the camera and harmonized with my acting. I'm very excited and curious to see how those scenes will turn out in the official broadcast," she furthered.
"My Dearest" release date is scheduled for August 4, and will be the newest Friday and Saturday K-drama. Viewers will get to see the duo's on-screen chemistry via MBC and Viki for global viewers.
On the other hand, the series will be Ahn Eun Jin and Namgoong Min's first work together.
Interestingly, "My Dearest" is also the actor's return to historical series after 10 years. His last sageuk was the 2013 MBC K-drama "Hur Jun, the Original Story," together with Park Eun Bin, Kim Joo Hyuk, and Park Jin Hee.
