2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards Nominees

The 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards unveiled the nominees for this year's ceremony. Scheduled for October 8 in Busan, South Korea, the annual event honors the achievements of contents released on TV, OTT, and online platforms across Asia.

For this year's celebration, notable stars and hit K-dramas were included in the list of nominees.

Song Hye Kyo Nominated for Best Actress

After her remarkable Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 achievement for her role in "The Glory," Hallyu queen Song Hye Kyo is being recognized at the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards.

In a report cited by a news portal, the actress joins a list of stars who will be competing for Best Leading Actress. Along with her as a fellow nominee is Zoe Saldana for Lioness and Indian actress Karishma Tana for "Scoop."

Song Hye Kyo's nomination was due to her amazing performance in the revenge K-drama, where she takes on the role of Moon Dong Eun, a bullying victim who sought revenge against her perpetrators.

Interestingly, her Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 achievement was the star's first Best Actress trophy since she made her debut.

Ryu Seung Ryong, 'Moving' Cast Enter 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards Nominees

Ryu Seung Ryong is among the nominees for the Best Actor category, along with fellow stars from Japan, the Philippines, and more.

The 52-year-old actor, who is best known for his role in the blockbuster movie "Miracle in Cell No. 7," once again captured the hearts of viewers with his perfectly portrayed portrayal of the doting father, Jang Joo Won, in "Moving."

Adding to the list of 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards nominees is Lee Jung Ha for Best New Actor. The up-and-coming star plays as Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung's son, Kim Bong Seok, who inherited his father's ability to fly.

Moreover, co-star Go Yoon Jung is also included as a nominee for Best New Actress as she takes on the character of Jang Hee Soo, Ryu Seung Ryong's daughter, who harbors regenerative superpowers like her father.

As for the K-drama "Moving," writer and webtoon creator Kang Full earns a nod for Best Writer, while the 20-episode K-drama is also among the nominees for Best Digital VFX Picture.

'Moving' Episodes 16 & 17 Release Date

As the sci-fi mystery series heads to its finale, Disney+ hints at the beginning of the final battle for Lee Mi Hyun, Jang Joo Won, and the rest against the dark forces.

Set to air on September 13, "Moving" episodes 16 and 17 will be available on Disney+ and Hulu at 4 p.m. KST
