‘The Killing Vote’ Episode 10: Park Hae Jin Torn Between Revenge & Duty

"The Killing Vote" officially revealed who Gaetal is as SBS dropped the show's 10th episode.

As the thriller-crime series nears its finale, Lim Ji Yeon, Park Hae Jin, and Park Sung Woong's drama scored a significant increase in rating.

'The Killing Vote' Viewership

After experiencing dwindling ratings in the past few weeks, the SBS K-drama bounced back and is on the rise.

In a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 3.2 percent for "The Killing Vote" episode 10.

At this point, the webtoon-based K-drama managed to turn the tide, enjoying the show's first increase in rating for the month of October.

Interestingly, viewers get to watch the 11th episode on November 2, while "The Killing Vote" finale will air on November 9.

Other than SBS, global viewers could watch the thriller-crime series through Wavve and Prime Video.

'The Killing Vote' Episode 10: Identity Behind Gaetal Revealed?

The story continues with Joo Hyun trapped inside the room, where she found evidence against Lee Min Soo.

A video contained the footage of Kwon Na Rae's murder, which she immediately sent to Park Moo Chan.

As Park Moo Chan prepared his team to rescue Joo Hyun, Lee Min Soo went to the police station to surrender himself.

Along with the video playing Kwon Na Rae's voice, he admitted to his sins and revealed that he was the one behind the child's death.

This move was advised by Moo Chan's longtime colleague, Chief Choi Jin Soo, who was the mole in their group and the person working for Assemblywoman Min Ji Young, Lee Min Soo's mother.

Jin Soo assured that Min Soo would be protected by the police other than being caught by Gaetal.

However, being with the police didn't stop Kwon Seok Joo and the Gaetals from pursuing their target, Lee Min Soo. The main purpose of the killing vote was to punish criminals like Lee Min Soo, who managed to get away with the crimes that they committed.

During the interrogation with Lee Min So, Park Moo Chan suspected that one of them was helping him get superficial punishment in his case. The best way was to surrender.

Amid this, Assemblywoman Min Young was getting her connection to get her son out of jail. Through his wealth and status power, it would be most likely that Lee Min Soo would be punished for his crimes.

Then, Kwon Seok Joo and his group would make sure this wouldn't happen.

As Lee Min Soo woke up, he was surprised to see a man wearing Gaetal's mask with Professor Kwon inside the same room. At this point, Gaetal declared that Lee Min Soo was the next target and conducted the voting, which would decide the future of Min Soo.

After getting the results of the vote, the group began their plan, leaving Min Soo near death. However, just in the nick of time, Park Moo Chan and his team arrived.

Trying to save Lee Min Soo, Professor Kwon reminded him of how ruthless and evil Lee Min Soo was. As the police arrested Professor Kwon, he pleaded with Moo Chan to let Min Soo die.

At this point, Park Moo Chan was torn between his personal hatred against Lee Min Soo and his duty as a police officer.
