‘Gyeongseong Creature’ Episode 1-3: Park Seo Joon & Han So Hee Team Up To Kill Dangerous Monster
The long awaited Netflix series "Gyeongseong Creature" starring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee finally made its debut.
In its first three episodes, a huge monster grows inside an eerie hospital, which threatens the safety of the people in Gyeongseong in the year 1945.
Jang Tae Sang Meets Yoon Chae Ok
"Gyeongseong Creature" begins with Japanese troops retreating from their positions, dumping dead bodies into piles and burning them.
As they douse the place with gasoline, something bangs near a metal door where a large humanoid creature is seen through the flames.
Elsewhere, pawnshop owner Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) is tortured for having an affair with Yukiko Maeda (Soo Hyun), Commissioner Ishikawa's (Kim Do Hyun) wife.
He accepts defeat and heads back to his shop with the Commissioner's men still keeping tabs on him. Mrs. Nawol (Kim Hae Sook) sells their valuable things should they need to escape.
Meanwhile, Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) follows the pawnshop owner, alarming Jang Tae Sang. She shares that she's looking for a painter named Sachimoto (Woo Ji Hyun). He offers his help to find him and in exchange, she must work for him.
Yoon Chae Ok Teams Up With Jang Tae Sang
Although she still doubts him, she agrees to work with Jang Tae Sang. Yoon Chae Ok breaks into the testing lab of the hospital where the creature is growing.
As it grows tentacles, its cell is blasted with nitrogen to keep it docile. It turns out that all the dead bodies before were caused by the creature.

News breaks that the hospital is now closed due to a deadly disease. Because of this, Jang Tae Sang is more than determined to find Yoon Chae Ok.
Thankfully, the nurses inside are also part of the resistance. Meanwhile, the creature grows bigger and kills a dozen soldiers by stabbing them with its tentacles.
Will Jang Tae Sang & Yoon Chae Ok Succeed?
A man survived the attacks and lives to tell the tale. However, Kato (Choi Young Joon), the military chief of the hospital, isn't happy when the man calls the creature a "failure."
Meanwhile, Jang Tae Sang hunts for Sachimoto after Myung Ja (Ji Woo), the Commissioner's mistress, is found inside the hospital.
Thankfully, Sachimoto arrives at the shop, ready to talk. At the hospital, Yoon Chae Ok sees the jars holding human heads, urging her to save the imprisoned people, especially the children.
She also manages to kill the doctor and some of the guards with the help of Jang Tae Sang's carefully laid plan. Unfortunately, Myung Ja is still inside while the creature becomes stronger.
