Kim Go Eun Rumored to Replace Han So Hee in New Drama ‘The Price of Confession’

Han So Hee's position might be occupied by Kim Go Eun after the latter reportedly received a casting offer to lead the "The Price of Confession."

Kim Go Eun To Potentially Join Jeon Do Yeon in 'The Price of Confession'

On January 17, Kim Go Eun made headlines for her potential participation in the much-anticipated drama "The Price of Confession."

According to a source, Kim Go Eun is in talks to join the lead cast of the series. In response, her agency BH Entertainment released a statement, saying that the actress is considering playing a significant role in the K-drama.

The agency informed the public that Kim Go Eun is reviewing the offer and if she accepts the project, it will make a notable addition to the drama's cast, bringing some of the outstanding stars in one frame.

Seasoned actress Jeon Do Yeon is also cast to lead the series, and she is also currently reviewing the offer.

'The Price of Confession' Becomes Center of Discussion Due to Constant Casting Changes

In 2023, big stars Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee were initially announced to headline "The Price of Confession." Unfortunately, due to reported miscommunication, the duo stepped down from their roles.

This drama has been in the spotlight for a long time now due to its constantly changing cast.

Since then, the production has kept updating the public on its potential casting lineup. As of this writing, it has been said that the role offered to Kim Go Eun was also the character that Han So Hee was supposed to play.

Apart from Kim Go Eun and Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Ji Won was also reported to headline the series but decided not to participate.

Furthermore, "The Price of Confession" centers its story around a murder case and its impact on the lives of two women.

"Crash Landing on You" director Lee Jung Hyo will take charge of the drama after "Descendants of the Sun" director Lee Eun Bok withdrew from the project due to scheduling issues.

Kim Go Eun Returns to Silver Screen With 'Exhuma'

While waiting for Kim Go Eun's next small screen work, you can anticipate the actress on the big screen beginning this February as she takes center stage to headline the horror-thriller film "Exhuma."
