Is It True? Lee Jong Won Gets Awkward With Park Bo Gum

Following the successful conclusion of his historical drama "Knight Flower," lead actor Lee Jong Won sat for an interview. He shared some behind-the-scenes stories and experiences working in the said series and with the veteran actress Lee Honey.

Aside from those, the Korean star candidly mentioned his fellow labelmate, Park Bo Gum.

To recall, in November 2023, Lee Jong Won signed an exclusive contract with THEBLACKLABEL. It is also the same agency that handles buzzworthy stars Taeyang, Jeon Somi, Zion.T, and Park Bo Gum. 

In the middle of the interview, the rising actor admitted that he has been feeling awkward with Park Bo Gum. Since he is only new in the company, he has not spent much time with some of his labelmates.

However, Lee Jong Won is trying his best to get to know more of his colleagues. According to him, "I'm gradually getting closer to Park Bo Gum, but we're still awkward. At the end of 2023, the actor's team had dinner together and we had some conversations. I also went to watch his musical. Even though I haven't had much interaction with him yet, we are rooting for each other."

What's Next for Lee Jong Won

As he continues to solidify his position as one of the promising lead actors today, Lee Jong Won is attracting more works. 

In 2023, Lee Jong Won was reported to join the main cast of the forthcoming romance series "Because I Want No Loss." His former agency, Eco Global Group confirmed the offer and that he is reviewing it positively.

He has reportedly been offered the role of Kim Ji Wook, a night shift part-timer at a convenience store who is called a citizen police officer and righteous man in the neighborhood. Shin Min Ah is confirmed to play as the female protagonist. 

Kim Young Dae is also confirmed to lead the exciting rom-com drama. The series is expected to premiere sometime this 2024.

Furthermore, Lee Jong Won impressed the audience through his performance in MBC's "Golden Spoon" where he bagged the Rookie of the Year award.
