In the latter part of "The Escape of the Seven" Season 1, Min Do Hyuk's true identity was revealed, as why K truly hated him. He happened to be the biological son of Sung Chan Group Chairman Shim Yong, the adoptive father of K.

Sim Jun Seok acted fast and knew that he had to eliminate Min Do Hyuk before his father knew about the story.
