Jung Eun Chae Confirmed to be Dating

Amid the dating controversy surrounding some K-drama celebrities, the 37-year-old beauty confirmed her relationship status.

Through Jung Eun Chae's agency, Project Hosu, the label confirmed to Donga.com that the actress "has a boyfriend."

"The two are in the stage of getting to know each other," the representative said, adding, "The two are meeting with positive feelings."

While the agency did not comment on the identity of her beau, rumors sparked that he is an artist.

Who is Jung Eun Chae's Boyfriend?

In the same report, Jung Eun Chae's rumored boyfriend is an artist known as Kian84's junior, whose real name is Kim Chung Jae. He was first introduced to the public as a junior of Kian84 on MBC's entertainment show "I Live Alone" back in 2017.

At the time, he received a lot of attention for his celebrity-like appearance.

Currently, he is working as an artist.

Jung Eun Chae Joins Kim Tae Ri's Drama 'Jeong Nyeon'

Jung Eun Chae is booked and busy with new projects in 2024.

In January, her agency confirmed that she was officially joining the upcoming webtoon-based drama "Jeong Nyeon."

Set in the 1950s, it depicts the journey of a young girl from Mokpo named Yoon Jeong Nyeon (Kim Tae Ri).

She tries to make ends meet; hence, she has no money for education.

However, despite her status, Yoon Jeong Nyeon has a great talent for singing and eventually enters a women's traditional theater company when she becomes older.

Meanwhile, Jung Eun Chae takes on the character of Moon Ok Kyung, who is a member of a women's traditional theater company. She has a constant inscrutable face, but is considered the best star in their theater company because of her versatility and ability to play male lead roles.

Prior to her casting, the role of Moon Ok Kyung was reportedly offered to "The Glory '' actress Kim Hieora. Unfortunately, she was caught up in a controversy, which resulted in her stepping down for the role.

As mentioned by the outlet, she was positively reviewing the offer but decided not to continue "due to personal circumstances."

On the other hand, Kim Tae Ri and Jung Eun Chae will also star alongside Shin Ye Eun, Ra Mi Ran, and Moon So Ri in "Jeong Nyeon."

Other than the upcoming historical drama, Jung Eun Chae is also known for her roles in "Someone You Loved," "The Table," "The Guest," "The King: Eternal Monarch," and the novel-based series "Anna," where she received lots of favorable reviews along with fellow lead star Bae Suzy.
