The Glory actor Jung Sung Il, who is most famous for his work on the popular Netflix drama The Glory, has finally divorced his wife of nine years, as reported in releases on October 14.

According to Koreaboo, Jung's agency XYZ Studio confirmed that the couple decided to split after "long and considerate talks." His non-celebrity ex-wife will still co-parent their child with him.
The agency issued a public statement via Newsen, reiterating that the breakup was not due to any fault.
"fter long and thoughtful discussions with his spouse, Jung Sung Il has decided to conclude his marriage," the statement stated.
"As this was a mutual and amicable decision made without fault on either side, we respectfully request that the public and media refrain from any speculation or misrepresentatio."

The agency went on to say that while their marriage has been officially over, Jung and his ex-wife are still good friends and will continue to bring up their child together.
"Although their legal relationship has been concluded, both parties continue to support each other on their respective paths and are sincerely and diligently cooperating in raising their child," XYZ Studio said.
Jung Sung Il became famous for his acting as Ha Do Young, the husband of antagonist Yeon Jin, in The Glory.
His acting earned him immense popularity both domestically in South Korea and globally, gaining him recognition as a talented actor who can do justice to a character through rich and realistic portrayal.
Jung's agency requested understanding from the people amidst this personal crisis and promised that the actor would resume his professional endeavors.
"Jung Sung Il will continue to work hard to show his best as an actor, and we ask for your continued interest and support," the statement added.
Supporters have since rallied behind the actor on social media, praising the mature way the issue was managed and wishing him strength in the future.
