Alex Boyé's Africanized cover of Frozen's "Let It Go" has reached 13 million hits on YouTube. Along with One Voice Children's Choir, Alex Boyé's take of the "Frozen" hit was surely impressive, but it was Lexi Walker's incredible voice that paved the way for the song to be a viral success.

With a stunning voice that rivals even Demi Lovato and Elsa's voice actor, Idina Menzel, it was no doubt that Lexi Walker's stunning voice was the key element and the driving force behind Boyé's cover. While Lexi has been performing professionally for less than year, she stated that she easily learned the song and only took 45 minutes of recording to perfect the beautiful rendering. No wonder this kid turned heads in this cover!

Currently based in Midville, Utah, she began making waves on YouTube last year with her debut performance singing the National Anthem at Real Salt Lake's soccer match-up with Vancouver in May and went viral.

Her second hit was when she did a cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" during a special performance for the USANA'S 2013 International Convention in Salt City.

The event organizer stated: "I've been producing entertainment for this event for eight years and we've had a lot of young talented people onstage, but never a voice like Lexi's. The audience went crazy! It's hard to believe she's only 11 years old."

Lexi recalls her childhood: "I've been singing for as long as I can remember, but I've only been performing since last May," she tells the Good News Blog. "Music has always been in my family, my sister sings, my grandma sings, everyone sings."

Looks like the sky's the limit for Lexi Walker, and she has a golden voice to make it to the top. We might someday see her recording an album! We'll find out very soon, but for now let's let Lexi enjoy the spot light.
