After US Airways Airlines kicked him off a flight for being overweight, "The Blind Side" star Quinton Aaron is determined to shed the pounds.

Although Aaron's size was a huge reason why he snagged the part in "The Blind Side," it is hindering the actor from living a normal life.

The incident that occurred with US Airways brought him shame.

"I just grabbed my bag and just got off as quick as possible because it was embarrassing," he said when addressing getting booted from the flight.

The 29-year-old, towering 6'8'' and weighing in at 550 lbs, usually flies first class. However, on a connected flight between Philadelphia and Rochester, N.Y., he had to settle for two economy seats since no first class seat were available.

"As I saw the seats, I'm literally hoping that no one had to sit net to me because I knew it wasn't going to work if they did," said Aaron, according to ABC News.

Unfortunately for Aaron, someone else did come and "The Blind Side" star had to be booked on another flight.

Rather than pouting about the experience, Aaron is making plans to lose the weight.

"I live in California. I want to go to the beach in the summertime with a tank top on and have girls chasing me down the beach one day," he said.

This is not the first time Aaron has come face to face with issues concerning his weight. In fact, following his debut role in "The Blind Side," he created an anti-bullying foundation for kids dealing with obesity.

"There's a lot of kids that get picked on because of their outer appearance and not everyone has had the luxury of growing up knowing the right foods to eat or knowing what a healthier lifestyle is," he said.
