Gwyneth Paltrow Divorce 2014: Spends Mother’s Day With Chris Martin; Coldplay Frontman Goes On Date With Alexa Chung!

Gwyneth Paltrow's divorce from Chris Martin doesn't mean that the two can't be on friendly terms. The former couple celebrated Mother's Day together with daughter Apple and son Moses at their $14 million Malibu Beach mansion, reported Radar Online on May 13. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Martin may have gone on a date with model and TV presenter Alexa Chung.

Paltrow's divorce from Martin was announced via a blog post on her lifestyle blog GOOP. However, despite the separation, Paltrow and Martin had a great Mother's Day together with their kids.

As an onlooker observed to Radar Online, "Gwyneth and Chris had a fun day out on the beach with their kids. They seemed very relaxed in one another's company. Anyone watching them would have thought they were just a normal loving family."

Chris Martin may have gone on a date with Alexa Chung. They have been rumored to have struck up a friendship at Glastonbury festival last year, while he was still married to Gwyneth Paltrow.

Less than two months after the couple's split, Chris Martin was spotted on a night out with Chung, according to Heat Magazine.

Chris Martin and Alex Chung enjoyed a drink together last week at the trendy New York City bar Elsa.

"When I arrived, about 9:15 p.m., they were tucked away in a dark corner of the back room of the bar," a source tells the publication. "Chris and Alexa seemed to know each other really well. They were both in a great mood, and even asked us to watch their bags when they went out for a cigarette. It definitely looked like a date to me."

At Glastonbury festival last year, Jessica Goldsack told MailOnline how she had served them ice cream in the early hours of the morning.

"They turned up together at around 3 or 4am and came over to where I was working at Shaken Udder and said to me and my friend 'what do you recommend?' They looked like they were just chilling and having a good time. I did find it a little odd that they were together - but we had a little chat and they wandered off after they asked us if we knew of any good places to go and have a few drinks. They were having a laugh together, but it didn't seem that anything was going on."
