Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Rumors: New Theory Suggest Skye's Past Is Of 'Inhuman' Origin! Could Her Parents Be Black Bolt And Medusa?

A new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. rumor has surfaced on the internet as the new theory suggests that Skye's mysterious origins could be connected to the Inhumans, and that her parents could be Blackbolt and Medusa of the Inhuman Royal Family.

Skye's mysterious origin has been the center of many gossips, rumors and theories as to who or what she is in ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. There have been hints of Skye being Ms. Marvel, a Kree, a Skrull, and now an Inhuman. According to a report from furiousfanboys.com, Marvel wanted to introduce the Inhumans into the Marvel Cinematic Universe but details of when will they show up have not yet revealed. Could the Inhumans possibly be featured in the next Marvel movie or in season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Only Marvel can answer these questions

It was explained before by Raina in the episode "Nothing Personal" that Skye's possible parents are the monsters that attacked a village in China as they search for their baby. Although it hasn't been proven yet whether these "monsters" are Skye's parents or that they are alien by nature (Kree and Skrull), but one thing is certain, Skye's mysterious origin could be a potential storyline for season 2 or Phase 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking of Skye's parents, rumor has it that she could be the child of the King and Queen of the Inhumans, Black Bolt and Medusa although that theory could be ruled out due to Skye's father making an appearance in the last episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Here's little information about the Inhumans in the Marvel comics. The Inhumans are super powered beings that are the results of a secret experimentation conducted by the Kree during the prehistoric years of earth. They experimented on the early humans as the Kree judge them to have "genetic potential" and use them as "super soldiers" for the Kree Military. Although the experiment was a success, the Kree abandoned them due to a dangerous prophecy that the Inhumans will become potential threats to the Kree Empire, and its leader the Supreme Intelligence.

The Inhumans, went on to form a society of their own, which thrived in seclusion from the rest of humanity and developed advanced technology. Experiments with the mutagenic Terrigen Mist (a process known as Terrigenesis) gave them various powers, but caused lasting genetic damage and deformities. This led to a long-term selective breeding program in an attempt to mitigate the effects of these mutations.

The Inhumans have been involved with other Marvel superheroes such The Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. The members of the Inhuman Royal Family include Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, and Lockjaw. What's unique about them is that each member has their own specific power for instance Medusa can control and manipulate her hair at will and use it as weapon, while Black Bolt has a dangerous sonic attack. It is said that the slightest whisper from him can shatter a mountain which makes him potentially the most powerful and dangerous amongst the Inhumans.
