Pokemon X And Y News: It looks like The Pokemon Company has claimed a trademark on Pokemon Delta Emerald. Here's the source. (From Serebii)

"A new trademark has been discovered as being registered by Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures Inc. in Japan. This trademark is for デルタエメラルド Delta Emerald. In addition to this, in the US, at the same time as the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire domains were registered, one was registered for Pokémon Delta Emerald. This trademark registration is not likely to be indicative of a game release, but rather covering bases in a similar manner to the registration of Pokémon Water Blue back in 2004 and numerous other Pokémon names over the past 10 years."

The Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire versions for the 3DS will launch in November, according to an announcement from Nintendo.

"Announcing Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokemon!" wrote the company.

Nintendo went on to explain the origins of the Ruby and Sapphire versions.

"Pokemon fans first enjoyed Pokemon Ruby Version and Pokemon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance. Now a whole new generation of Pokemon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire," the statement read.

Now, Gematsu reports that Nintendo's "Delta Emerald" trademark was filed on May and went public May 29.

Pokemon Emerald was the third GBA entry to the series behind Sapphire and Ruby, but Nintendo has yet to announce a remake of the game.
