With very kind words, Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Nick Young kissed the amazing booty of his rapper girlfriend Iggy Azalea.




During this weeks ESPN Body Issue Party in L.A.'s Lure nightclub, Young spoke on the 2014 BET Awards controversy surrounding Nicki Minaj allegedly throwing shade toward Azalea when accepting the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Award.




"What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is, when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," said Minaj when accepting the award that Azalea was also up for.




After the statement was made, the media had a whirlwind with it. Young said he had to comfort his girlfriend.




"Oh man! You know, it is what it is," Young said, according to US Magazine . "I had to deal with the aftermath when she came home."




Young also suggested that Azalea's success is breeding resentment.




"When she got home and was going through her phone and hearing all the things and people talking trash about her, you know I had to be there for her," said the baller. "But you know what, Iggy is doing big things and its scaring a lot of people!"




The athlete claims Azalea is taking the hate the best way she knows how.




"She kind of brushed it off!" said Young. "She don't let it get to her. She's number one right now so what can you do when you are at the top right now? Of course they will all come at you!"




With her single "Fancy" and the Ariana Grande "Problem" collaboration topping the charts, Azalea can be considered the cream of the crop.
