‘The Moon That Embraces The Sun’ Finally Breaks 40% Viewer Rating, Crowned ‘National Drama'
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on the 24th, the airing of 'The Moon That Embraces the Sun' on the 23rd captured a 41.3% viewer rating.
This is the highest rating the drama has reached, topping the previous day's episode of 39.1% by 2.2%. The drama has been repeatedly lingering in the high 30s and has finally passed the 40% mark with only four episodes remaining, in which the viewer rating should continually be increasing.
The episode that recorded the highest rating reveals Hwon dramatic wailing after realizing Wol's true identity as Yeon Woo.
The dramas airing at the same time as 'The Moon The Embraces the Sun,' SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Please Take Care of Us, Captain' recorded a 5.8% while KBS2 TV's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Wild Romance' recorded a 5.4%.
