Finding Dory: Why Production Was Delayed? Ellen DeGeneres Will Still Be Voicing Dory! [SPOILERS]

"Finding Dory," a sequel for 2003's "Finding Nemo" can now be viewed by the public after a long time of waiting. It has now been more than 10 years when the "Finding Nemo" first made it big all over the world. As soon as the first animated flick was shown worldwide, families and children, alike, have been waiting for a sequel to be in the works right away. However, it would seem that it took the makers of "Finding Nemo" this much time for them to come up with a following animation, "Finding Dory."

Pixar's Steve Jobs and Disney's Michael Eisner reportedly had a disagreement, which was the reason why the actual production of "Finding Dory" was moved. Pixar had to come up with their own studio and had to work on their own. However, when Eisner was replaced, Disney was quick to acquire Pixar. This means that everything that happened back then has now been forgotten and buried in the past.

Back then, there have been countless rumors that a part two to "Finding Nemo" was being prepared and that the former director, Andrew Stanton, will still be the one to direct the second animated film. However, it was Stanton, himself, who shot down these rumors through his Twitter account.

Moreover, it was in April of 2013 that Ellen DeGeneres, the voice behind Dory, confirmed that "Finding Nemo" will, indeed, have a second film and that the title will be "Finding Dory." For those who are not familiar with these characters, Dory is the fish that Nemo's Father, Marlin, met during his journey trying to find Nemo. Dory has short-term memory amnesia, and "Finding Dory," as the title entails, will be about her.

Majority of the voices behind the characters in "Finding Nemo" will be returning, such as the entire tank team. As mentioned, DeGeneres will still be voicing for Dory. Sadly, however, Alexander Gould, who happens to be the voice behind Nemo, will no longer be returning for "Finding Dory" because he has already grown and his voice has changed. Joe Ranft, the voice of Jacques, will also not be reprising his role as he has passed away back in 2005.
