The human rights lawyer and her Hollywood heartthrob husband have set Venice Italy abuzz with their romantic, fairytale like wedding, and it seems they want to keep being reminded of the special occasion by way of these keepsakes. Amal Alamuddin reportedly bought husband George a post-wedding gift from Venice. The 36 year old barrister reportedly scored some handmade Murano cocktail glasses for their home in London, according to E! News.
According to the source by E! News, this was the perfect gift because it would always remind them of their wonderful Amal Alamuddin George Clooney wedding in the beautiful Italian city. "Amal loves the idea of them having the same cocktail glasses that they use at the Cipriani Hotel in Venice," the source said. "George admired them every time he looked at them during the wedding celebrations and they didn't have time to go shopping in Venice, so she's ordered them in as a post-wedding gift for him. It means that every time they curl up with a cocktail at home they'll think of their wedding and be reminded of all the happy memories."
Furthermore, according to E! News, the cocktail glasses are the ones they drank out of during the Amal Alamudding George Clooney wedding celebrations, and she got 12 of them at $ 100 each. Aside from these, Amal also ordered a 12 piece matching silk napkins and napkin holders, which costs $ 2,500.
Alamuddin also ordered a 12-piece set of matching silk napkins and handcrafted napkin holders which set her back an additional $2,500.
The pair have since gone on to their usual business attending to their careers, with Amal reportedly officially changing her name to Amal Clooney, and traveling to Athens, Greece to meet with the country's prime minister. Meanwhile, the actor was back in the movie promotional circuit, talking about his latest movie -- a sci-fi adventure flick from Disney called Tomorrowland.
