Get A Sneak Peek On ‘Pretty Little Liars’ First Christmas Episode; Mona Returns In The Holiday Special!
There was no Halloween Special for "Pretty Little Liars" this season, but it will offer a new holiday atmosphere with its Christmas episode come December.
The Christmas episode of ABC Family's smash hit TV series shows glimmering outfit of the Liars as they attend an Ice Ball instead of the scary costumes and masks on previous Halloween episodes of the show. ABC Family brought on October 21 the Fan Appreciation Day as part of the 13 Nights of Halloween, so PLL viewers didn't miss the Liars on the usual end-of-October episode.
With just the title "How The 'A' Stole Christmas", we already know that something bad will going to happen on the holiday of the Liars. But the question is: Who will steal Christmas from Aria, Emily, Hannah, and Spencer?
The Liars would probably be experiencing another surprise attack from the mysterious, and most elusive, fictional character on TV, and 'A' would make it happen at the Ice Ball where the Liars and Alison flaunting their gowns.
Aria-and-Ezra fans will see the two waltzing at the ball. The earrings that Ezra has given to her as Christmas present will be visible at the ball. We don't know yet if the pair of earrings has any significant role in the said episode.
It was said that "Pretty Little Liars" Christmas Episodes is inspired by Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol".
Meanwhile, Janel Parrish will be back as well as the half of the season returns but more in the flashbacks. This compensates Mona's shocking death in the summer finale.
During her interview with Zap2It, Janel revealed, "Like I said, I'm going to be in the Christmas special as the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future, and in the second half of the season there will be more Mona flashbacks."
"Pretty Little Liars" fans will also see the Liars along with the others such as Sydney, Jenna, Lucas, and Paige singing Christmas carols at the Shady Days Nursing Home in the Christmas episode.
