'Bond 24' 2015 Names Penelope Cruz And Dave Bautista As Bond Girl And Bond Villain Respectively? Director Sam Mendes Talks 'Skyfall' And Its Continuation

"Bond 24" gets a 2015 release date, and fans can't wait.

For starters, Daniel Radcliffe has already confirmed his return to play the iconic role of 007.  However, the much anticipated announcement of who will play the Bond Girl and Villain role remains in question.

Until now.

New reports suggest that producers have already casted both characters, and have placed their trust in Penelope Cruz and Dave Bautista to play the popular titles.

According to The Sun, "Bond bosses have been chasing her [Penelope Cruz] since Daniel became 007 in 2006. But schedules and her pregnancies meant it never materialised. At this stage no one at Sony will confirm it."

Cruz or Sony has not given any confirmation about the "Bond 24" 2015 casting rumor.

Meanwhile, "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor and WWE star Dave Bautista has been reportedly given a villain role.  However, the rumored role will be for a henchman named Hinx, and not the main Bond villain.

Here is the casting description for the role:

"We are looking to follow in the tradition of JAWS and ODDJOB in finding an iconic baddy.

Hinx (Male, 30 - 45)

Ideally over 6 foot 2 inches. Hinx is the main henchman/assassin. We are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He has several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training. He has to drive. We are looking for someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background."

It looks like Bautista will be a good fit.

Reports have claimed that "Bond 24's" plot will continue from "Skyfall." Director Sam Mendes hinted on some movie details in a recent interview with Vulture.

"Hopefully we'll reclaim some of the old irony, and make sure it doesn't become pastiche. I can't do shtick, I'm not very good at it. Unless it kind of suddenly makes sense. Does that make sense? I sometimes wish I hammed it up more, but I just can't do it very well, so I don't do it."
