Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Price: Phablet 3G Ready At $150, 4G Variant Available For $166; Ban Lifted For Qualcomm Use

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. The Xiaomi Redmi Note has been dubbed as one of the top 'budget smartphones of 2014.' It costs a lot less than the iPhone 6 and is one of the best tabs for the money. The Xiaomi Note comes with a 5.5-inch HD screen, which makes it fantastic for viewing; it's slightly bigger than the 4.5" iPhone 6. And the MiUI interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Most consumers will be content with the dual SIM smartphone that works on an octa Mediatek processor and is outfitted with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, 13MP camera (standard), microSD slot for external memory and a 3,100 mAh battery  that will take you through a day and a half.

The Xiaomi Note is 3G ready but you can get a 4G verson of the Redmi Note for approximately $166. Note the spec bump as the Redmi Note 4g works on a Qualcomm snapdragon processor.

Xiaomi was recently banned for using Qualcomm chipsets. "After the dramatic ban on smartphone imports and sales in India, Xiaomi's reprieve last week for handsets based on Qualcomm chipsets will on Tuesday see the Chinese smartphone manufacturer bring the Redmi 1S back on sale again, as promised," NDTV reported, adding, "Notably, the company had recently been enjoying success with two consecutive flash sales of its Redmi Note (3G variant), with 50,000 and 75,000 smartphones going out of stock in six seconds and eight seconds respectively."
