It looks like the Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain release date has been leaked online by the Sony hackers if the reports and rumors are to be believed.

Users from 4Chan have allegedly uncovered the Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain release date from the leaked Sony documents and the documents allege that the game would be released this March 17, 2015.

It's no secret that gamers have been waiting for Konami to officially announce the Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain release date and seems that the wait may be over soon as Konami has been rumored to announce the launch date of the game at CES 2015 this January 2015.

Ariel Penn of RocketBooster has reported that Konami is reportedly set to present new details about Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain at CES 2015 and they would officially announce the release date of the game.

So it seems like gamers would have to wait until CES 2015 to see if the March 17, 2015 launch date of the game is real.
