"The Vampire Diaries" star posted a photo of her cat Lynx being cuddled by a teddy bear wearing her show's shirt. Although it looked innocent enough, it was the photo's caption that caught her followers' attention.

According to Hollywood Life, she could be throwing some serious shade on her ex-boyfriend's recent engagement with Nikki Reed.
Ian Somerhalder, her co-star in the hit CW series, recently popped the question to his girlfriend of just six months.
The "Twilight" star confirmed the engagement to US Weekly, calling the 36-year-old hunk "quite possibly the most amazing man that's ever walked the planet."
Somerhalder and the 26-year-old actress started dating just after the latter's divorce to "American Idol" alum Paul McDonald was finalized. She was also reportedly one of Dobrev's closest friends.

Hollywood Life previously reported, however, that the "Perks Of Being A Wallflower" actress might have found a new man already and it's another "The Vampire Diaries" co-star.
According to the publication's source, the 25-year-old TV star and Chris Wood are "great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together."
However, the possible new couple is reportedly not "looking to start a relationship."
"They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues," the insider added.
Speaking of work-related issues, Dobrev and Somerhalder have been keeping a professional connection for "The Vampire Diaries." They continued to work together even after ending their two-year relationship.
The former lovers even addressed the issue in public, suggesting that they have patched things up and have already moved on from each other.
