Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family To Take Her Off Life Support In A Day Or Two; No Improvement, Little Brain Activity, Said Doctors At Emory

Bobbi Kristina Brown who was found unconscious and face down in her bath tub is in critical condition. Doctors say there is little they can do for the daughter of music diva Whitney Houston and musician Bobbi Brown.

Kristina's family said in a statement that she is "fighting for her life." She has moved to another hospital, Atlanta's Emory University Hospital from North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia.

Sources said that Bobbi Kristina Brown's last text messages were about her unbearable grief over her mother's death. Whitney had climbed to the top of her musical career after which she fell victim to cocaine and prescription drugs. She was also distraught by her marriage to musician Bobbi Brown.

Christian Post reported that Ms. Brown was so distraught by her mother's death that she had sought help for depression.

Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, Bobbi Brown's lawyer said in a statement, "We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina."

Police say they have found drugs in Bobbi Kristina's house in Atlanta and are investigating a suicide bid. Whitney was found dead in the bathtub at Beverly Hilton hotel near Los Angeles three years ago.

"We don't leave any stone unturned," Police Department Spokesperson Lisa Holland was quoted as saying by US Weekly. "So the police took a search warrant on the home. Before the warrant, initially when the police went into the home there was nothing there that indicated that anything out of the ordinary happened. There [were] no drugs out in the open."

Kristina Brown was brought to the hospital on Saturday, and was placed in an induced coma by doctors. Since Monday, Kristina has been on a ventilato,r and the status of her brain function will not be determined until her medication is reduced, friends of the family told CNN.

On Monday Ms. Brown experienced some seizures. In the latest Bobbi Kristina Brown news, her family is deciding whether or not to keep her on life support. She closed her eyes a few times during the coma, but the doctors say that her condition remains undetermined.

Doctors have told Bobbi Kristina’s family that she has very little brain activity and there has been no improvement. According to reports, family members will make a decision to take her off life support within a day or two.
