Looks like Jake Gyllenhaal is set to shock his fans and critics again as he gained 15 pounds for his upcoming film, 'Southpaw."

Jake Gyllenhaal is currently in post-production for three films and in the process of filming a fourth.

With his recent movie, "Nightcrawler" nominated for an Oscar and his performance in Constellations on Broadway debuting to high praises, there's no doubt Jake Gyllenhaal is a hot commodity in Hollywood right now.

According to TheCelebrityCafe, "Southpaw," "Everest," and "Demolition" are all slated to release in 2015 and production of "The Man Who Made It Snow" will begin soon.

"The Good Girl" star portrays Billy Hope, an unsettled boxer whose temper leads to tragedy for wife Maureen, portrayed by Rachel McAdams. Gyllenhaal tries to regain custody of his daughter Leila (Oona Laurence) by making a comeback while Titus Wills (Forest Whitaker) lends him a helping hand.

Gyllenhaal surprised critics and fans by losing a shocking 25 pounds to portray the sociopathic nocturnal cameraman Lou Bloom in Nightcrawler and then he turned around and gained 15 pounds to play a championship prizefighter in the forthcoming film "Southpaw," which finally released its trailer.

Eminem, who was originally eyed for the lead role shared the trailer Friday, March 27 on YouTube.

According to HeraldRecorder, the Detroit rap icon's official Twitter account posted the preview footage Bits of new music from Eminem can be heard in the trailer, which seem to have tense, moody vibe of "8 Mile" and a "Rocky"-like battle for redemption.

The film written by Kurt Sutter and directed by Antoine Fuqua centers on Junior Middleweight Champion, Billy "The Great" Hope, a troubled champ who loses everything in a personal tragedy and is compelled to fight his way to redemption.

"Southpaw" is slated to release by the Weinstein Company on July 31.
