Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Divorce Confirmed As Singer Announces Split On Instagram

Avril Lavigne and Nickelback Chad Kroeger have pulled-out of their rocky marriage. After two years of marriage, the two have announced their separation.

Lavigne was the one, who first broke the news to her 1.8 million followers via an Instagram post.

"It is with (a) heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today," Avril wrote along with an adorable picture of the (now separated) couple. She added, "Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support."

According to Loudwire.com, Avril and Chad got engaged in August 2012 and officially got hitched in 2013. For a long time, there had been rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. But, Avril's last statement put an end to them.

Kroeger had been spotted at club E11EVEN in Miami with another woman on Aug.18, 2015, reported Us Weekly. "Chad came in with a woman (not Avril) and a security guard," a clubgoer told The Weekly. He added, "He was down in the party pit by the stage, definitely out in clear, plain view - not in the private back VIP areas."

Us Weekly had first reported the turbulence in Avril Lavigne and Nickelback Chad Kroeger's marriage a year ago, in September 2014. "It's over," a source had told their reporters. "He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing."

According to Loudwire.com, Chad had been struggling with health issues lately. Due to this, he had to call-off Nickelback's summer and fall 2015 tour dates.

The "Complicated" songstress had been married to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2010. Ironically, Whibley had remarried his girlfriend Ariana Cooper over the past weekend in Bel Air, California. Avril Lavigne and Nickelback Chad Kroeger announced their separation a few days later.
