1. Descendants Of The Sun (2016)

This drama includes North Korea in the plot. The main leads Captain Yoo Si Jin (Song Joong Ki) and Dr. Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) struggled in keeping their relationship balanced in their work-life as a soldier and a doctor. 2. Doctor Stranger (2014

Park Hoon (Lee Jong Suk) and his father were tricked and stayed in North Korea for a short time. He falls in love with a North Korean girl named Song Jae Hee (Jin Se Yeon), whom he met in North Korea. Unfortunately, they lost communication when he returned to the South. They encountered each other again in South Korea. Park Hoon is already a doctor with gifted hands and Jae Hee is forced to accomplish a secret mission. This drama's plot used many North and South Korea themes. They made it more understandable and relatable for viewers.   

3. City Hunter (2011)

This drama is about betrayal, forbidden love, and politics. Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho) plays a Blue House employee who is trained by his foster father to get revenge from the soldiers that betrayed him. Yoon Sung is focused on his secret mission until he falls in love with the Blue House bodyguard named Kim Nana (Park Min Young). City Hunter reversed the usual perspective between North and South Korea. Sometimes the real enemies are people you trusted the most.

4. Blow Breeze (2016)

This is a long drama which is consists of 40 episodes. It tells the reality of a man who escaped from North Korea. A defector from North Korea named  Mi Poong (Lim Ji Yeon) encounters a boy from the South named Lee Jang Goo (Son Ho Joon). They went separate ways and meets again in South Korea because of a family inheritance. This drama shows how difficult it is for a man from North Korea to start a new life in the South. This is a family drama that revolves around the story of Mi Poong and Jang Goo.
