Your Kdrama Husband: Which Actor Would You Choose?

A Korean matchmaking agency recently decided that when it came to kdrama actors, Lee Seung Gi had the best husband potential. They rated him on education, fortune, family and some other factors, giving him 95 points out of 100.

Few would argue with his ranking. He's handsome, a hard working actor, seems really nice and knows how to stay out of trouble, all good qualifications for a prospective husband.

The show went on to list entertainers a woman would say yes to if they proposed. The list included some kpop stars and Lee Jong Suk, currently starring in "I Hear Your Voice."

On a recent Dramafever blog, the top choices for kdrama actors you would marry included Lee Seung Gi again but also Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Soo Hyun. Obviously all these choices also had something to do with the actors being talented, attractive and having recently appeared as a desirable character in a kdrama.

But it's easy to confuse an actor with the characters they play on TV. It's easy enough to imagine you might want to marry Lee Jong Suk because his "I Hear Your Voice" character Park Soo Ha can read your mind and will always know exactly what you want for your birthday. He will also follow you around watching out for murderers.

And you might imagine that Lee Min Ho's superior martial arts skills as Lee Yoon Sung in "City Hunter" could protect you from the bad guys. Being able to ride an elephant also seems like a useful skill in a prospective husband. And when it comes to being caring and considerate, there is no better husband material than Yoon Ji Hoo, played by Kim Hyun Joong in "Boys Over Flowers" and Shin Woo, played by Jung Yong Hwa in "You're Beautiful." Ha Seok Jin as Oh Joon Young, Son Ye Jin's husband in
"Shark" plays the most considerate spouse. He has been devoted to her character since they were children.

But that doesn't mean those actors are their characters in real life.

Seeing stars on "We Got Married" might offer a clue as to what kind of husbands they would make. So, fans would definitely add Lee Hong Ki and Taecyeon to the list of most marriageable kdrama actors.
