Samsung released its latest smart watch Samsung Gear S2 and Classic in the US market last Friday on 02 October. According to the industry experts and pundits, the new Samsung Gear S2 Smartwatch will be the latest face of the tech company's wearables, said Realty Today.

The smartwatch runs on Samsung's own Tizen-based Operating System and not the usual Android Wears. It is round in shape and does not even have a passing resemblance to Apple's smartwatch or its predecessor Samsung Gear S1 that had rectangular shape.

The smartwatch can be paired to any Android-operated device, as long as it runs with KitKat 4.4 or above, and has a minimum of 1.5GB of RAM. However, it deliver its best performance when paired with a Samsung mobile device. The sporty look of the standard model will cost you $299, while the much more classic look will be available at $349, said Realty Today.

The new Samsung Gear S2 flaunts a round unique rotating bezel which means that the new model not only lets you browse via touch screen but also via the rotating bezel. The entire OS looked like it was built with this new input method in mind and to provide the most fun navigating around the smartwatch software, said Gizmag.com.

Notifications are placed on the left and widgets on the right which including app shortcuts, fitness tracking, calendar or music. The rotating bezel lets you navigate around the watch without blocking the (relatively) small screen with your fingers. Samsung has taken its smartwatch product to a whole a new level. It is unquestionably one of the company's greatest innovations to date, said VC Post. The new Samsung Gear S2 has been labelled as one of the simplest and the easiest round smtwatch in the market so far.
