"Love & Hip Hop New York" couple Erica Mena and Bow Wow's split may have allegedly been caused by the rapper's disapproval of the former reality star's revelation that she had a miscarriage a few months ago.

According to Vibe, Erica Mena shared a poem on social media about the sad event in her life.

"I'm open about it. I'm not the only one," Erica wrote in a tweet, as quoted by the website. "Speaking my mind has always helped me deal & heal. So I'm NEVER ashamed. Can you say the same?"

Bow Wow reportedly didn't like the former "Love & Hip Hop New York" star's decision to reveal a private event in social media.

"First and foremost, I feel like telling your personal business on social media, I feel like that's one of the lamest things you possibly can do," Bow Wow said in a video that he shared, as quoted by Vibe.

"I feel like it's attention seeking, especially when it's news that happened five months ago. It's not recent, it's five months ago."

The "Love & Hip Hop New York" couple's split due to the miscarriage revelation didn't seem to cause Erica Mena to lie low on social media.

In fact, some speculate that she may be using her Instagram account to make Bow Wow realize how much he lost in the breakup.
