Android Marshmallow 6 Release Update: New Features for Sony Xperia And Motorola

Android 6.0 Marshmallow release date is a long-awaited timeframe for the android users. Although, there are no confirmed reported, Sony has made the full Android M update available for download right now for the through its open source binaries based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for  Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, Z3, and more, revealed Latin Post.

Sony made software binaries of AOSP Android Marshmallow available for download on its developer tools page which are available for the following devices: Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia E3, Xperia M2, Xperia T2 Ultra, and Xperia T3, said Latin Post.

However, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is among the three devices of the Sony excluded from the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade's recipient's list, said VC Post.

The new Android Marshmallow 6 release date is also much awaited by a vast number of Sony mobile phone users due to its latest updated features. Few of the key features of the new Androind M are  allowing users to work out greater control over app permissions; purchase easily and securely with fingerprint support and Android Pay; experience enhanced battery-life through Doze; smarter Google Now; and redesigned App Drawer, said VC Post.

Motorola is also a fast-mover when it comes to Android updates. It requires minimum additions to the devices which has made Motorola update its Android software even faster than Google Nexus. Retail editions and unlocked editions of Moto G2 may get Android Marshmallow at the beginning of 2016, said Android Standard.

It also released the list of its models that will be updated with the Android Marshmallow release date approaching fast which includes: 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (third-gen), 2015 Moto X Style (third-gen), 2015 Moto X Play, 2015 Moto G (third-gen), 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the US (second-gen), 2014 Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia (second-gen), 2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE2 (second-gen), 2014 Moto Maxx, 2014 Moto Turbo, Android Standard said.
