Lamar Odom Khloe Kardashian Husband May Survive: Heart Responding But Estranged Wife Angry At Brothel

The ex-NBA-turned-reality star Lamar Odom, Khloe KArdashian's husband, seemed to be finally responding the medical treatment being given to him in Nevada hospital. He currently remains on life support system making slight improvements in his condition, said ESPN.

Daniel Artests, Odom's childhood friend, the brother of Lakers forward Metta World Peace (neé Ron Artest), tweeted about Odom on his twitter account. He said Odom opened his eyes and was able to squeeze the hand of estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, who has been with him in the hospital. It was not clear when in the past 24 hours these events might have happened. Artest called Odom's condition "critical but stable," said SI.com. Odom's heart condition had improved but 'was still not out of woods,' said ESPN.

Lamar Odom was in a coma-like situation since past two days with his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian by his bedside constantly. People close to him including his ex-wife Liza Morales are hopeful that he has not suffered any significant damage to the brain, said SI.com. Liza Morales was married to Odom before his marriage to Khloe and has two children Destiny and Lamar Jr with Odom. She also flew out from New York City's JFK airport with her kids with all arrangements being made by Khloe herself, said USA Magazine.

Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada last Tuesday by staff and was rushed to the hospital when pink foam was seen coming out of his mouth. Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian was upset on the brothel staff and lashed out to them stating 'Show respect, stop blabbing.' There have been several conflicting report in the media including death of Odom as doctors in the hospital are not revealing anything. Kardashian and Jenner families have also gone offline about his current health status making 'insiders' spreading all kinds of rumors, said USA Today.
