There Is Probably No Buddha Statue On Mars As Claimed

A YouTube channel Paranormal Crucible has uploaded a video of one of the latest NASA images claiming that a Buddha statue was found on a rock photographed in Mars.

The artifact believed to resemble Buddha when zoomed in was captured by Curiosity Rover as it surveyed the rocky terrain in Mars, according to Express. These findings and assumptions support the claim that life forms once existed on Mars and were wiped out before human beings evolved on Earth.

"[It] shows a face and head turned to its right, with breasts and a plump stomach, shoulders. The photo alone should be enough to convince the United Nations that intelligent life once existed on Mars, but NASA doesn't want anyone to know the truth because they will be asked to share the info and technology that they have found," wrote research-fellow Scott C Waring on his website,  UFOsightingsdaily.com.

According to NASA scientist, Ashwin Vasavada who said that the claims doesn't seem to be true noted that 500 scientists from around the world are working on Curiosity Rover to know what exist on Mars and much more. Vasavada added that NASA would be more excited than anybody else to know if life existed on Mars.

The scientist added these predictions could be because of optical illusion caused by the brain which is commonly referred as pareidolia. In case of pareidolia people tend to associate a familiar object or a person to a random object found in an unfamiliar place.  

"Apart from pareidolia, the sightings are also linked to a psychological phenomenon called apophenia which is also similar to pareidolia, where humans have the tendency to see connections or connect random things with each other or seek meaning in random events and objects," he added in a report  by the Express. .
