Halle Berry Olivier Martinez File For Divorce; Actor Complained Of Loneliness While Oscar Winner Focused On Her Career

Bond girl Halle Berry and French actor Olivier Martinez have officially filed for divorce. Both have asked for joint custody of their two-year old son and will share custody in the "best interest of the child." Berry and Martinez met in 2010 on the set of "

Dark Tide." They got married in July 13, 2013, at the rustic Chateau des Conde in Martinez' native France. Their son Maceo-Robert was born on Oct. 5, 2013, said People.

According to sources, the two fiery personalities have headed for divorce due to their disagreement over their living situation. Berry has another daughter Nahla with Gabriel Aubry with whom she is already battling for custody issues. She had planned to raise both her children in Europe but was never able to do it due to custody case with Aubry. Due to the custody case, the couple had to move to LA, Martinez disliked.

Martinez has been known for his fiery temper. He also got into a Thanksgiving brawl with Aubry in 2012 apart from another unsettling encounter with an airport employee at the Los Angeles International Airport. The employee has sued Martinez for $5 million alleging that the French actor used a car seat to shove him out of his way, said CNN.

Moreover, Martinez expected Halle to spend more time raising the family and did not understand why she was focussing on her career. He also did not want the actress to sign for CBS' "Extant." He also complained that he spent a lot of time alone or with friends.

Both actors issued a joint statement on October 27 stating that with heavy heart they have come to a decision for divorce. They have decided to move forward with "love and respect" for one another and shared focus for what was best for their son, stated TMZ.
