The rumored Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus relationship was real, said the actor who also added that his feelings for Cyrus will never change.

Two years after calling off their engagement "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" actor told a men's fitness magazine that he has no hatred for his ex-fiancée Cyrus. He also added that a person will fall love with a person whom he is destined to fall in love with and there is no choice in that, according to E Online.

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage," the Australian actor says, laughing. "I mean, look-we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling," he added.

Liam Hemsworth And Miley Cyrus Part in Each Other's Life Won't Change

The duo met on the set of "The Last Song" back in 2010. Hemsworth said that Cyrus is an important part of his life and it will always be the same forever. He also noted that Cyrus who is a free spirited person will surprise people constantly with her activities. He added that she is a young girl who is free to do what she wants to do.

"It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do," noted Hemsworth about Cyrus, reported US Weekly.

Hemsworth had been single ever since the duo called off their engagement and he also noted that dating for him is a "really difficult" phenomenon.
