Lamar Odom is reportedly on the road to recovery, according to the latest news.

But does his recovery also involve getting back into his old ways, including teasing Khloe Kardashian in an insensitive way?

According to rumors, Lamar Odom allegedly told Khloe Kardashian to leave his side for a while to work out.

Did Lamar diss his ex and showed her he cared more about her weight than her efforts to be there for him?

Apparently not. As a matter of fact, the insider claimed that the former NBA star was only concerned for Khloe Kardashian, and that is why he told her to have some time for herself.

"Khloe wasn't rushing to leave Lamar's bedside," a source reportedly told Hollywood Life, as quoted in their news report.

"She would have still been there if both Lamar and doctors hadn't told her it was best she get out, exercise and have some Khloe time. Lamar's so grateful to be alive and breathing. That's why he's encouraging her to get out of the hospital and recharge her batteries."

Khloe seems to have taken Lamar Odom's advise to have some fun, as previous news reports mentioned that she attended Kim's baby shower last weekend.

"The shower for Kim and Kanye West's baby boy (due on Christmas Day) was postponed one week after Odom was rushed to the hospital," New York Daily News reported. "Despite her presence at the party, don't expect Khloe to return back into the spotlight anytime soon."

Hollywood Life's insider also confirmed news reports that Lamar Odom is slowly recovering and is doing better and better as days pass.

"Lamar's fine. He's in much better condition than he was when he first arrived," the source added.

"Khloe's been his support system and pretty much brought him back to life with her undying commitment and love. These past two weeks have been trying for both Lamar and Khloe. But through it all, their bond is strong and unbreakable."
