Amy Schumer Forcing Herself On A Movie Role? Can't Get Enough Of High-Paying Stints?

Amy Schumer is setting her sights on a new movie.

According to the Emmy award winning comedienne, she wants to appear in the movie adaptation of the UK series "Absolutely Fabulous," which starred Jennifer Saunders and aired from 1992 to 2003.

"Ab Fab - I'm a huge fan," Amy Schumer told Dish Nation. "I do know Jennifer Saunders and I love her - she's a friend of mine."

Spice Girl Emma Bunton has reportedly agreed to star in the movie alongside Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley. Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne are rumored to have cameo appearances on the film.

When asked about the possibility of her appearing in the movie, Amy Schumer said nothing may be final yet.

"We'll see. I keep sending [Jennifer] my reel," the comedienne said.

Amy Schumer has definitely gained a lot of attention this year, and it's no secret that popularity in the entertainment industry almost always comes with a huge paycheck.

According to Variety, Amy has moved to a plush pad in Manhattan. It seems that her efforts at making people laugh has been paying off.

"Comedienne Amy Schumer appears to have caught a classic case of The Celebrity Real Estate Fickle," the report said.

"Though she picked it up only a bit more than a year ago, the deftly coarse social satirist has flipped her fourth floor walk-up apartment on a casually plummy, townhouse-lined and tree-shaded block on the Upper West Side of New York City back on the market with an asking price of $2.075 million."

Though she appears funny, lively, and care-free in red carpet events, Amy Schumer actually works hard to be where she is right now.

Aside from writing, producing, and starring in "Inside Amy Schumer," she also appears in comedy specials, and even had time to write and act in the movie "Trainwreck," alongside John Cena.
