"Good Doctor" Joo Won is changing in a shockingly fast pace all thanks to Joo Sang Wook's warm words of wisdom and comfort.

September 17, an episode of the KBS drama "Good Doctor" featured Park Si On (Joo Won) successfully completing his first surgery, dealing with his traumatic past involving his biological father Park Choon Sung (Jung Ho Geun) and learning to comfort others with a sincere heart.

In the midst of Park Si On's process of maturation, Kim Do Han (Joo Sang Wook) had been there to offer his words of wisdom.

During Park Si On's first surgery, he stays calm and thinks of everything Kim Do Han and Cha Yoon Seo (Moon Chae Won) had told him and controls his mind to remember all the knowledge he needs for the procedure. Instead of complimenting Park Si On how well he did, Kim Do Han points out his mistakes first. However, Kim Do Han adds, "Congratulations on your first surgery. I'm going to hurt you if you go around bragging about your first surgery."

Even though Kim Do Han is cold and logical while he is working, he never forgets to play the role of a comforting-older-brother-role at the end. Kim Do Han tells Park Si On, "Do you know what is really embarrassing and what hurts my pride the most? Being incompetent? Not being able to make a lot of money? It's being scared of something forever after being afraid of it once. A lot of people get confused. They think not feeling afraid is being brave. They're wrong. Bravery is continuing on and not giving on even though you feel afraid."

Also, Park Si On learns about how to sincerely comfort somebody. When Cha Yoon Seo is in an emotional roller coaster after a patient faints on the day they were to be released, Park Si On decides to take the blame for her. Cha Yoon Seo becomes more upset. Kim Do Han tells Park Si On to be sincere instead of trying to do something big.

After listening to Kim Do Han, Park Si On goes to the hospital room his father is staying at. Even though his father is the person he wanted to avoid the most, Kim Do Han helped him overcome his traumatic past with his father. Park Si On also finds himself being able to sincerely comfort Cha Yoon Seo just by being there for her.

Kim Do Han is turning Park Si On into a real man.

People in the online community who saw this episode responded with comments like, "Kim Do Han is doing such a good job being Park Si On's mentor. I'm so proud", "It's touching to see that Kim Do Han is changing with Park Si On" and "This is a beautiful drama created by Joo Sang Wook, Moon Chae Won and Joo Won."
