Golden Globe Winner Jamie Foxx's Daughter Corinne Foxx Gets Crowned As Miss Golden Globe 2016

Golden Globe winner Jamie Foxx's model daughter, Corinne Foxx, was crowned with the Miss Golden Globe 2016 title for the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association on Tuesday.

HFPA President Lorenzo Soria made the announcement at the first party of the 2016 Golden Globe Awards Season, hosted by the HFPA and InStyle. The event was held at Ysabel West Hollywood and was presented by FIJI Water, reported Variety.

"We are delighted to have Corinne Foxx continue the tradition and have her as our 2016 Miss Golden Globe," said Soria.

 "Like her father, she leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can't wait to see what she does next."

The HFPA selects Mister or Miss Golden Globe every year who is traditionally the son or daughter of an established Hollywood star. The said position gives the awardee an opportunity to assist in in handing out the awards during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

Bruce Willis's daughter Rumer; Kevin Bacon's daughter Sosie; Kelsey Grammer's daughter Greer; Bruce Dern's daughter Laura; Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca; Tippi Hedren's daughter Melanie Griffin; Michael J Fox's son Sam, and Freddie Prinze's son Freddie Prinze Jr were some of the previous Miss and Mister Golden Globe honorees.

 "Throughout the years I've grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor," said Corinne, according to Daily Mail.

 "I'm honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he's been awarded for some of his greatest accomplishments."

A senior at the University of Southern California, Corinne has recently shot a modeling campaign for accessory line Icing.

The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA on January 10 at 8 p.m. EST and will be hosted by Ricky Gervais. Award nominations will be declared on December
