The highly anticipated second season of the popular Disney+ series "Moving" is already getting flak before its premiere, as a major cast replacement has been finalized, angering fans of the original series.
As reported by Koreaboo, the creative minds behind "Moving 2" have decided to replace actor Lee Jung Ha with Won Kyu Bin in the role of Bong Seok due to the former's ongoing military service. This is a giant development for the franchise that made waves since its release in August 2023.
Recently, Won Kyu Bin, along with the Season 2 cast and production team, gathered at KINTEX in Ilsan for a script reading, marking the official start of the new season.
"Moving," which was released on Disney+ in August 2023, is a 20-episode drama based on Kang Full's popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of children living while hiding their superpowers and parents who carry painful secrets, as they face great dangers together across generations.
According to Shining Awards, in the first season, Lee Jung Ha portrayed Bong Seok, the son of characters played by Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung, earning praise for his performance. Won Kyu Bin has now been selected to take over the role, a move that has drawn mixed reactions.

Fans have taken to social media to express dissatisfaction with the recast decision. One reaction online shows how people felt about it. "I REFUSE TO BELIEVE I WONT BE SEEING JUNGHA AS BONGSEOK AGAIN ,"
Another fan suggested an alternative approach to handling the character's absence. "I wished they would have wrote him out for s2 and then have him come back for s3 since he would have been out of the military by then "
