"Good Doctor" Kwak Do Won reveals the reason why he is hesitant about his son's surgery.

September 24, the 16th episode of the KBS drama "Good Doctor" featured Kang Hyun Tae's (Kwak Do Won) sick son arriving in Korea to receive treatment for his condition.

Even though Cha Yoon Seo (Moon Chae Won) discovered a way to perform surgery on his son, Kang Hyun Tae seems to have a hard time trusting the doctors at the hospital. Kang Hyun Tae refuses the surgery to be performed on his son.

Kang Hyun Tae's son says, "Dad, they told me I can get better here. I really hope I can so I can play baseball again." Kang Hyun Tae replies, "Okay, I'll make sure that happens."

Kim Do Han (Joo Sang Wook) says, "I assumed that you were aware of our abilities. I don't understand why you are being so untrusting." Kang Hyun Tae answers, "The reason is simple. Because I am a father. There is no father in this world who would risk his son's life to something uncertain."
