The famous American TV star, Kylie Jenner, launched her much talked about Kylie lipstick on November 30th at 9 A.M. PST. The Lip kit was available online for about a minute when it got sold out completely.
The "Keeping up with the Kardashians'" star had been promoting her exquisite kit past few months and had started the countdown four days before its launch on her site lipkitbykylie.com. On the opening day, the kit was merely available for about 30 seconds, when "We are sold out" message popped up to the buyers hitting the site, reported Elle.
After months of work, Kylie Jenner has compiled a kit with Lipstick and Lip liner combo. The kit is available in three colors Dolce K, Candy K, and True Brown K. "It's no secret I'm really into lips. One of my biggest dreams the past few years is to launch my own Kylie Lip Kit! After months and months of testing colors and designing the packaging...it's finally happening!!!" Kylie wrote on her site Thekyliejenner.com, according to US Weekly.
Kylie Jenner's lipstick and lip liner kit is put for purchase at $29 for each color combo. She had been planning this for the last 2 years and was pretty much excited about it finally happening. When thousands of people hit the site on the launch, it started experiencing capacity problems and the purchase was shut down within a minute.
Jenner asked the customers not to be upset as the website was facing problems because of the overwhelming traffic. The star who noted that the technical issues are being sorted out asked customers to keep checking.
"So the Internet has been broken lol. Nobody be upset! But everybody stand by. There are so many people on the site right now we are having some tech issues! We are working on it. Keep checking," posted Jenner on the social media for the customers waiting to lay hands on the new product later deleted it.
