Oh Ji Ho's daughter was due to arrive in 2016 but obviously wanted to be born in 2015, as his wife gave birth to their first child on December 30.
According to his agency, Heavenly Star Contents, the birth went well.
"The due date was January 6 but she came into the world earlier. The new mother and baby are born healthy."
Not only is the baby healthy, but she is pretty.
"Oh Ji Ho's daughter looks like both her father and mother and her facial features are pretty," his agency representative told the Korean media outlet Naver TV.
The couple has not yet decided on a name.
His daughter's birth took place almost two years after the actor married Eun Bo Ah, a non-celebrity. The couple dated for three years before marrying in April 2014. At the time of his marriage he said that his fondest wish was to have two children, a daughter and a son. He's halfway there.
The actor's filming schedule has been busy since then. Oh Ji Ho played a detective who sees ghosts in the paranormal police drama "Cheo Yong" in 2014, then a servant in the sageuk "Maids." Most recently he played a doctor in the romantic comedy "Love Clinic." He also did a few cameos, appearing in the film "Man On High Heels," and the drama "Late Night Restaurant."
He is best known for the dramas "Couple or Trouble," "The Slave Hunters" and "Queen of the Office."
Congratulations Oh Ji Ho!
