Hwang Jung Eum Makes Wedding Plans

Hwang Jung Eum, the actress who has been romanced onscreen by the likes of Ji Sung, Park Seo Joon and Super Junior's Cho Si Won, is getting ready to tie the knot.

According to the media outlet Korea Times, the 31-year-old actress is making plans for a wedding that will take place late in February at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Some media outlets have reported the 25th and others the 26th.

Hwang's agency, C-JeS Entertainment confirmed the news.

"Hwang Jung Eum will marry near the end of February. The two met through an acquaintance and have decided to spend their lives together. Hwang Jung Eum was touched by her boyfriend's sincerity and trust while she was busy last year filming her drama."

Hwang's fiance is Lee Young Don, a golfer-turned-businessman. He debuted as a professional golfer in 2006. Now he manages a Japanese golf firm as well as a steel company.

The decision may seem sudden as the couple only went public with their relationship early in December. They had been dating for four months when they were photographed together and decided to go public with their relationship.

According to her agency, the wedding is happening so soon because both families were eager for them to marry.

"Families on both sides suggested marrying quickly since the relationship has already gone public," said a C-JeS representative. "The couple gladly agreed. Hwang Jung Eum will continue to work after she marries and greet her fans in new projects. Please congratulate the couple on their joyous future together."

Hwang Jung Eum broke up with her previous boyfriend Kim Yong Joon of SG Wannabe In May 2015. The couple dated for almost ten years and broke up more than once. She decided to end their relationship after "Kill Me Heal Me" finished filming.

Hwang Jung Eum debuted as a member of the girl group Sugar. She has appeared in three successful dramas in the last two years, "Secrets," "Kill Me Heal Me" and "She Was Pretty." In 2015 she won three MBC drama awards for the last two roles.
