Kdrama Dating Rumors: Park Yoo Chun And Pro Golfer Ahn Shin Ae

In the past, JYJ's Park Yoo Chun has been romantically linked with actresses Han Ji Min, Park Min Young and Lee Da Hae. But he denied those dating rumors and said that if he ever dated anyone, there would be no need for secrecy and scandal. He would date publicly.

"If I ever date, I will open my relationship to the public before the rumors start to spread," he said when denying any real-life attraction for his "Rooftop Prince" co-star Han Ji Min.

But that statement has not stopped the rumors from spreading. This week an SBS entertainment news report said he was dating professional golfer Ahn Shin Ae and had done so for a few months. He denied that report through his agency.

According to his agency CJES Entertainment, "Park met Ahn Shin Ae with other acquaintances while he was learning to play golf, but they are not in a relationship."

They asked the public not to spread stories that were not true.

The entertainment report cited quotes from two people who knew both Park Yoochun and Ahn Shin Ae. One unnamed person says that the two were spending a lot of time together and that as a result of their relationship Park has developed a strong interest in learning to play golf.

In their official statement, CJES denied this.

 "Park Yoochun developed an interest in golf early this year and he has seen Ahn Shin Ae while meeting with other friends who enjoy golf," said the statement. "But it is not true that they are dating."

A second unnamed source said that Park and Ahn's parents have already met. But CJES representatives say that it was his managers who met her parents and even if Park's parents had met Ahn's this would not necessarily mean anything. Ahn's parents own the golf club, which Park visits with his friends and managers.

 "Park Yoochun is working hard on the set of his movie and is baffled by this dating rumor," said the CJES representative.

Park Yoochun, the star of "Rooftop Prince," Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and "Missing You" is currently filming "Sea Fog," a film about a ship that smuggles human cargo. Director Bong Joon Ho is producing the film.

As a professional golfer, Ahn Shin Ae represented Korea in New Zealand then returned to Korea to debut in the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA). She served as their official model in 2012.
