Five Fun Facts About Yoon Si Yoon

Yoon Si Yoon, the actor last seen as gamer genius Enrique Geum in "Flower Boys Next Door" has decided on his next role. In the "Sound of Music"-inspired drama "The Prime Minister and I," he will play Kang Ho. Kang is an aide to the prime minister and the first love of the reporter-turned tutor played by Yoona.

The actor, who became famous after his role in "King of Baking, Kim Takgu," is known for his upbeat personality. Here are a few things you may not know about him.

1. He learned how to pace himself from "King of Baking" co-star Joo Won.

"When we did the drama, I was jealous of his physical strength," said Yoon. "We often stayed up all night during production and he was always energetic and going strong while I kept dozing off. I tried to find out what made us so different and realized Joo knew how to pace himself from his time doing musicals and plays. He inspired me, and I began working out after that. It helps."

2. He does not like to be tickled. That's what co-star Park Shin Hye found out while they were filming "Flower Boys Next Door. He is so ticklish that just poking him might make him cry. And that's what she often did to tease him.

3. He practices gratitude. Not only does he pray every day but he also makes a daily habit of writing down what he is grateful for in a special journal. He tries to write down at least five things every day. Writing is his hobby and his laptop is always open to his word processing program. He also likes to read and his library has more than 1,500 books.

4. He does not mind being called a "flower boy."

"Since I'm still a young actor, being called a 'flower boy' means people think I'm handsome," he said. "When people call me that it makes me very happy and boosts my confidence."

5. He's fond of watching sports but the only one he likes to practice is Muay Thai, a form of kickboxing.

"I've been to Thailand with my friends to watch Muay Thai matches,"said Yoon Si Yoon. "Sometimes when I have the time I do practice it as a hobby."

He tries to practice when the gym is not so crowded because he is only an amateur.

 "If they recognize me, stronger and bigger guys want to spar with me," he said. So I try to practice when no one is around."
