Lee Jong Suk has been making waves through his recent movie "No Swimming", and has met a lot of attention with the success of his previous dramas "School 2013" and "I Hear Your Voice". Despite this, he admits that with great popularity comes negative criticism.

During his interview for his photo shoot with fashion magazine @star1, Lee Jong Suk confessed, "I check news about myself and I search my name on portal sites."

"When there are criticisms or negative feedback that I see on the Internet or in news articles, I can't help but feel the same way. The viewers' opinion on my acting is similar to how I feel about myself. I realized that if I watch through the viewers' eyes, I would see a lot of things that I lack in."

"I am still new and learning, and I'm in the process trying to develop myself. Because of this, I don't feel hurt by negative criticism," he said.

"I learned that as time passes by, people are expecting more and more from my acting. If you look at the list of the dramas I've done, it's still very short and lacking, but I think I'm progressing in a stable and orderly way. There are some downfalls but I'm getting recognized."

The full interview and photo shoot will be released in the November issue of @star1. Meanwhile, his new movie "No Breathing" will premiere on October 30.
