The Year So Far In Kdrama Kisses

As the year winds down, it's time to start thinking about which kisses rated highly in this year's dramas. We have a few dramas to go-and definitely some more kiss scenes-but it can't hurt to make a list of the early contenders. Here are a few we think should make the list:

"Missing You": The so-called "second kiss" takes place after Yoon Eun Hye has allowed herself to remember everything that happened in her traumatic past. That past includes an accidental kiss with Park Yoo Chun on a bus ride when they were younger. Both actors are crying, as they pretty much did for most of the drama, so it's a tear-stained poignant kiss.

"That Winter The Wind Blows": The cotton candy kiss has already been added to the list of many top ten favorites. The con man played by Jo In Sung is sampling cotton candy with the blind heiress played by Song Hye Kyo. He has her convinced that she's his sister so there should not be any chemistry between them but there is.

"I Hear Your Voice": Although the aquarium kiss is tamer than any of the kisses that follow between Lee Jong Suk and Lee Bo Young, it's distinctive because it takes place in the blue otherworldly tunnel of an aquarium, a place the hero has always longed to visit. It's also the kiss with which he confesses his feelings.

Not all kisses set this year's kdrama characters on a course for a happy ending.

One kiss that ended in a slap was the kiss between Kim Nam Gil and Son Ye Jin in "Shark." Not sure that he is the young man she once loved and because she is now married to someone else, she slaps him after he unexpectedly kisses her in the rain.

"When A Man" had another memorable kiss, which did not lead to a happy ending between the characters. The kiss between Shin Se Kyung and Yeon Woo Jin crackled with chemistry but also spoke of betrayal, as Yeon Woo Jin owed everything to Song Seung Hoon's character and Shin Se Kyung was supposed to marry him.

And while "The Master's Sun" was an audience favorite this year, complete with lots of physical affection between So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin, none of their kisses really made a lasting impression.

Of course we have yet to see Lee Min Ho kiss Park Shin Hye in "The Heirs" or see Yoon Eun Hye decide whom she will kiss in "Future's Choice." The choice for top kiss of the year could become a lot easier.

Are there any kdrama kisses you are looking forward to or think we should have included? Which of these kisses did you like best?
