Drama ‘Nine’ Remade in the U.S.
On October 27th, CJ E&M staff member said that the producer of the famous drama, "Gossip Girl" Fake Empire Entertainment has decided to remake the tvN drama "Nine: The Ninth Time Travel."
The staff member said, the drama that will be made will be broadcast on the terrestrial channel ABC in the U.S. "Nine: The Ninth Time Travel" is the first Korean drama that will be remade in the U.S. People were especially interested because actress Kim Yun Jin introduced the drama to the producer "Empire Entertainment" herself and successfully contracted the drama. She was extremely proactive going to meet producers and doing a briefing herself to sell "Nine: The Ninth Time Travel."
Kim Yun Jin said, "As someone that had a lot of fun watching the drama, I think it's great that 'Nine: The Ninth Time Travel' was sold to the U.S. Currently, there are other projects that are in the process of being sold into the U.S. in various formats. I hope that other drama with great content will be remade and I will work hard so that it will be."
tvN drama "Nine: The Ninth Time Travel" is about a man with 9 mysterious perfumes that enable him to go back 20 years to the past. It's a fantasy mellow that includes a time travel plot.
