"Empress Qi" Ha Ji Won finally reunited with her father and cried tears of happiness.

On MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Empress Qi" (Script Jang Young Chul Jung Gyun Soon, Script Han Hee Lee Sung Joon) broadcast on October 29th, Qi Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) helps Wang Yu (played by Ju Jin Mo) and leaves for In Ju to reunite with her father.

On this day, the leader of the Soon Army (played by Kim Myung Soo) starts to investigate Seung Nyang following the bill of indictment that the merchants had given.  The Seung Nyang clan cried as they were dragged and were beaten for no reason.  However, even in this time Seung Nyang didn't peep a sound while getting beat and people said she was a tough cookie.

The leader of the Soon Army asked Seung Nyang if she knew her crime and she said calmly, "I'm only guilty of being born to the wrong parents and having been brought up in poverty.  I was born in a country with no power and had to protect myself.  I met a horrible leader."

Looking at Seung Nyang, the leader let Seung Nyang go and said the next time she gets caught it wont end in a beating.  However, at this time, Seung Nyang's underling that was upset at this unfair beating started to steal something and this changed the order of events.  Seung Nyang find sthe same ring as the one she was wearing and realized the leader is her father.

Thus, Seung Nyang who had been searching for her father starts to cry tears of sadness and goes into the department to keep her father's side.  However, the leader had not known that Seung Nyang was his daughter because she was dressed as a man.  As the two received an order to keep the Emperor Crown Prince Tae Hwan (played by Ji Chang Wook), this added tension to the drama.

Meanwhile, "Empress Qi" is about the love and struggles of a Koreo dynasty woman who ends up governing the great kingdom.  It is a 50 episode drama and features Ha Ji Won, Ju Jin Mo, Paek Jin Hee and Kim Suh Young.  Writers Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon who have showcased their talent through "Dae Jo Young" "Giant" and "Salary Man Cho Han Ji" are collaborating with Producer Han Hee who produced "Gae Baek" and "Doctor Jin."
